DescripciónDescription The director of IDEA will oversee the design and development of a portfolio of online and blended curricula for a growing suite of rigorous online programs offered across a variety of disciplines and audiences at the Universidad Central del Caribe. The director of IDEA works under supervision of the Dean of Academic Affairs and will collaborate closely with the Assistant Dean for Curriculum Development, Licensing and Accreditations in the new online program development, curricular renovation, and the design of hybrid, and online courses. The director will identify the pedagogical best practices and supporting online educational technologies needed to effectively execute curricular mission, and work with faculty to articulate the goals, assessments, activity paths, learning objects and content for existing and new online/blended courses.

Requisitos Requirements The director will also oversee the work of assigned instructional designers for hybrid/online education to ensure the production of online/blended courses that are both aligned with programmatic outcomes and established design objectives for online/blended programming. Master's degree in Instructional Design Educational Technology, Education, Curriculum or another relevant field.
