Operate diesel engines, including starting, stopping, and monitoring performance indicators.
Read and interpret engine and hydraulic systems gauges and indicators to maintain optimal engine performance.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of events during shifts, noting any irregularities.
Respond promptly to alarms and troubleshoot basic issues, conveying information to a qualified mechanic for resolution.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Work effectively within a 12-hour shift schedule, including day and night rotations.
Demonstrate comfort working in close proximity to mechanical equipment and a high-noise setting.

Requisitos Requirements
Ability to operate diesel engines or a willingness to be trained in basic startup and shutdown procedures.
Comfortable working with mechanical equipment and in noisy environments.
Basic knowledge of engine monitoring, including reading gauges and interpreting engine indicators.
Strong initiative and ability to work independently during shift operations.
Ability to accurately maintain records and logs throughout the shift.
Clear and concise communication skills for relaying troubleshooting information to a mechanic.
Must have reliable personal transportation to reach the worksite.
Previous experience operating diesel engines or in similar roles is a plus.
Understanding of basic mechanical and engine systems.
