The main function of the Clinical Director is to assist the Dean of the School of Chiropractic (Dean) and the Director of Clinical Affairs (DCA) in the coordination and operation of clinical education. The Clinical Director is the lead clinician in the UCC School of Chiropractic system. The Clinical Director is also responsible for supervision of clinical activities performed by the doctors and interns in the outpatient and student health center facilities. Their duties include daily clinic scheduling, assisting the DCA with training both, clinic doctors and students, communicating between the student and outpatient facilities for continuity, and the periodic assessment and evaluations of students. The Clinical Director will participate and assist in clinical discussions and planning sessions and when directed, participate as a representative of the UCC SoC clinic system.
Requisitos - Requirements
Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an evidence-based Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE) accredited institution or equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in chiropractic from an institution recognized and approved by the CCE. Doctor of Chiropractic’s Puerto Rico license and/or NCBR. A minimum of seven years clinical experience as Chiropractor. A minimum of two years’ experience as an educator in a health-related field. Demonstrated ability to serve a diverse population and apply an equity lens to this position including social justice, inclusion and anti-racism. Able to speak and write in English and Spanish. Knowledge and use of Microsoft 365. Demonstrate ability to work both independently and cooperatively as part of a team.
