DescripciónDescription The candidate is expected to offer a teaching and learning process to medical and graduate students within an environment of respect, creativity and diversity and will contribute to the Department of Biochemistry providing instruction using large and small group discussions, case-based learning, and journal article discussions, and by participating in institutional and program committees. Administer tests and assessment instruments to determine the academic progress of students in each course taught. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent research program, obtain extramural research funding, publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals, and mentor graduate students as a thesis mentor in the Institutional Ph.D. program.

Requisitos Requirements Ph. D. in Biochemistry, Nutritional Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology or MD. Preferably experience in research and teaching at higher education institutions. Have experience in grant writing. Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and cooperatively as part of a team. Knowledge in Microsoft 365. Experience in the use, management and integration of technology in the teaching and learning process. Knowledge and skills in the use of information systems. Bilingual (English/Spanish).
