The Community Educator serves as a liaison between internal departments, community-based organizations, social service agencies, and public health entities. This key individual attends work group meetings for quality performance maintenance and provides educational activities and materials related to Quality Improvement (QI). The Community Educator is fully dedicated to duties of the Quality Department.
Essential Functions:
Disseminates meaningful interventions and health education services within the community.
Collects and analyzes data to identify community needs while planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating programs designed to encourage overall wellbeing.
Implements health education strategies and interventions that promote and integrate high quality services at the clinical setting.

Requisitos Requirements
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s Degree in a Behavioral Health field and or Health Educator; Master’s Degree preferred.
-Current, unrestricted license to practice
-Experience in education, behavioral, managed care and/or health field preferred
-Knowledge and experience of education and prevention strategies.
-Personal computer experience should include working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook at the intermediate level at a minimum.
-Availability to work Monday to Friday 8am-5pm/ 9am-6pm or it may depend on the event they are working on at that time.
