Reviewing the contractor's safety plan and ensuring compliance with applicable health and safety guidelines. Organizing safety meetings with project workforce, and conducting audits. Conducting daily safety and health inspections and maintaining a written log. Providing new employee safety orientation and ongoing safety training in accordance with OSHA regulations. Conduct site orientation meetings for new hires and subcontractors. Conducting accident and injury investigations and completing required reports and forms. Enforcing safe work practices. Overseeing the documentation and physical inspection phase of the workflow process, and maintaining applicable safety reference materials on the job site. Communicating with project management regarding compliance and safety. EEO
Requisitos RequirementsBachelors’ Degree in Engineering, Sciences, Industrial Hygiene or related fields of study. At least ten years of experience in a management Safety role in the Construction Industry. Experience working in federal and USACE projects. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish. 30-hour construction industry certification. OSHA 500 Trainer course. Strong computer skills in MS Office 365 and other software.
