Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department. Record monthly journal entries to accurately reflect financial transactions. Participate in the monthly closing of accounting records.
Conduct monthly working papers and general ledger reconciliations to ensure data accuracy. Review and process disbursements/reimbursements to guarantee compliance with financial policies. Review and pre-approve invoices for payment processing. Manage monthly bank reconciliations to monitor cash flows, including income registration and other deposits. Collaborate in the preparation of the annual budget. Analyze budget variances monthly, providing valuable insights.
Requisitos RequirementsCredentials:
• This position requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on Accounting from a four-year college or university and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Prior experience in the marketing or consumer industry and non-profit is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced accounting knowledge are essential for this role.
• Experience working with external auditors and understanding compliance and regulatory oversight.
• Proficiency in technology, including advanced knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
• Full bilingual proficiency in both Spanish and English is required.
