- Associate/Technical degree in Industrial Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics or Instrumentation.
- Experience on Automation Engineering (Maintenance and/or Projects) including but not limited to PLC’s, HMI’s, DCS, Historians, Industrial Data Networks, Instrumentation and related hardware.
- Knowledge in Network Topologies (Control Net, Device Net, CAN, Flex-Bus, among others)
- Performs maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC’s, batch applications, instrumentation, human machine interfaces, control systems, and process network applications used in utilities, manufacturing and packaging equipment.
- Executes Control System software upgrades, backups, restore, disaster recovery and archiving, as needed.
- Reads and interprets ladder logic programming, function blocks, blueprints, schematics and specifications, and utilizes them to troubleshoot and determine causes of equipment malfunction.
