· Assess the needs of your sales area.
· Develop strong business relationships with customers.
· Do strategic planning.
· Develop proposals, reports and sales contracts.
· Keep up to date with trends in the industry.
· Organize information sessions, create presentations and discuss product lines.
· Visit clients or potential clients in your assigned region.
· Gather information about negative effects of products and report back to your employer.
· Prepare and maintain the sales forecast

· Communication skills, including the ability to explain clearly, listen to the feedback of clients – and relay this to colleagues.

Education:
· Industrial mechanical, electrical or electronic technical degree or similar
Experience
· 3 to 5 years' experience as an Industrial Technical Sales Specialist or similar is a must.
