Monitor and control boiler performance to ensure optimal efficiency and safety, including maintaining proper pressure, temperature, and fuel levels.
Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in boilers and heating systems, including mechanical, electrical, and fuel-related problems.
Interpret and follow technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and regulatory codes.
Maintain detailed logs and records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, and operational parameters.
Train and oversee Boiler Technician Helpers or other junior staff, providing guidance and instruction.
espond to emergency repairs and unscheduled outages in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
Communicate with other facility staff, contractors, and regulatory inspectors as needed.

Requisitos Requirements
-High school diploma or GED required; a vocational degree or certification in HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical systems preferred.
- Experience with boiler operation, maintenance, and repair, typically 2+ years.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of combustion systems, steam generation, water circulation, and electrical components.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of safety codes, regulations, and best practices for boiler operations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as pressure gauges and multimeters.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
